USMLE Step 1 by Deja Review contains all the critical concepts you need to know to pass the exam. The book is not about comprehensiveness but about efficiency. The way in which the contents are laid out makes it easy to reference.
Are Kaplan books enough for Step 1?
The topics are important for the exam, but the few pages in the Kaplan books with the First Aid STEP 1 and U World were enough to cover everything important for the exam purposes.
